Runners are encouraged to park at the Rivers Street Park & Ride in Hailey and utilize the free shuttle. The 2007 Trailing of the Sheep Festival was ranked among the "Top 10 Fall Festivals in the World" by MSN Travel!
The 12th annual festival October 10-12, celebrates Songs and Stories from Sheepherding.
The 2007 Festival, which took place in Ketchum and Hailey October 12-14, celebrated the Peruvian culture's contribution to the sheepherding tradition with the sights, stories, and sounds of Peru. The event included special music, food, dance, workshops, tours, and lectures, culminating in an unforgettable sheep parade. Also represented in our sheep ranching are the Basque, Scottish, Polish, and Celtic cultures.

just north of the airport. There will be over 60 arts
and crafts vendors,
10 food booths, lots of free entertainment, and a
bouncy castle for the
kids. More than 50% of the arts and crafts
vendors are new this year, which
will add to the fun and variety. There is no

The 14th Relay for Life, a fun-filled overnight
affair designed to celebrate survivorship and raise
money to help the American Cancer Society, will
occur at the Wood River High School Date TBD. <
br/>Survivors are invited to participate in the pre-
Relay Bar-B-Q at 5:30pm, Friday, followed by the
opening ceremony and the sruvivors` victory lap
at 7pm. Teams will stay through the night doing
laps around the track. There will be entertainment
and snacks for Relay participants throughout the
night and into the morning. The luminaria
ceremony at 10:00pm Friday night is one of the
most special and moving events in the entire
Relay For Life. Everyone gathers around to
remember those lost to cancer, support those
fighting cancer, and rejoice with those who have
fought the disease and won. Luminarias are
available for a contribution to the American

The Snow Derby features sliding contraptions, made only from cardboard, paint and tape, racing down the ski hill. This is an event for the whole family.
